|JOB SUMMARY||The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading and developing the assigned sales team and agency reps to drive the strategic objectives of Walter. Provide training, guidance, territory support, and performance management in order to promote Walter’s product leading to successful sales and growth. |
Requires extensive travel to mentor, coach, motivate and develop the sales team and agency reps. Proactively calling on customers to assist sales reps with sales generation.
Cultivate and grow relationships with key distributor principals, strategic accounts, and key influential end-users.
|EDUCATION||Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.|
|EXPERIENCE||10 years industrial sales experience. |
Proven experience successfully managing and leading employees in diverse geographical locations.
Experience working with and developing industrial distribution channels and end-users.
Experience in metal forming or metal fabrication industries a plus.
|OTHER||Proven success in team building and development. Exceptional interpersonal skills. |
Must have excellent time-territory management skills.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.
Must be willing and able to travel at least 50% of the time throughout the west coast.
Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com CRM database.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
