Job Summary

Lead US Channel Marketing initiatives and define US Channel Marketing strategy to grow Walter’s presence with key national accounts, working cross-functionally within Walter US and Walter Canada.

Lead US Marketing team to deliver exceptional performance.

Support key strategic distribution accounts and lead effective executive of sales promotions.

Responsibilities:


Education
  • College degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience
Experiences
  • 5+ years industrial sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with information analysis and interpretation.
  • Proven experience effectively leading a team and managing deliverables.
Others
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate. Microsoft Office applications required; experience with Cognos and Salesforce an asset.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to effectively manage project timelines.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of time.

Job Summary

Develop and oversee the sales function for the assigned territory by working with and through our distribution partners while developing new opportunities with end-users.

Proactively and aggressively travel the assigned territory to develop and oversee new business acquisition by actively promoting and demonstrating mechanical solutions products.

Attend trade shows, technical seminars and conduct lunch and learn training sessions to distributors and end-users.

Responsibilities:

With guidance and support from the Product Manager, the Associate will:


Education
  • College degree preferred, or equivalent experience
Experiences
  • 2-5 years industrial sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling abrasives, tooling and power tools a plus.
  • Industrial distributor and end-user experience a plus.
Others
  • Proven prospecting skills and a “hunter” mentality.
  • Must have excellent time-territory management skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.
  • Capable of working efficiently and effectively from a home office.
  • Must be computer literate, including Microsoft Office and CRM database.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
